AK REAL COLORS RC932 RLM 02 RLM-Grau (1938)
£2.75
Used for painting Luftwaffe aircraft interior surfaces from around 1935 until the end of World War II (according to official regulations, replaced in this role by RLM 66 in the summer of 1944).
Overall color of Luftwaffe combat aircraft in 1935-1936 and trainers (seen in this finish even in the mid-war period).
Also used as upper surface camouflage color of Luftwaffe fighters and heavy fighters from the late 1939 until ca. mid-1941, afterwards its role as a camouflage color was limited to mottling.
A fair match to BS381C/389 Camouflage Beige (Hemp) used for painting upper surfaces of RAF Nimrod patrol aircraft, Canberra PR.9 recon aircraft, Victor and VC10 tankers from the 1980s until their withdrawal from service.
